Siemens produced the world's first electric actuator in 1905, and the trademark for its electricuators is SIPOS (SIEMENS Positioner). SIPOS has been widely used in various industrial production sectors around the world. Nearly all the electric actators used on the bypass lines of steam turbines in Chinese power plants are original imported SIPOS. Siemens Company also sold the production technology of its SIPOS  series and SIPOS 3 series to two manufacturing plants in China in 1987 and 1992, respectively. Siemens Company successivelyased out SIPOS 1 and SIPOS 3, and for the first time creatively applied advanced and mature motor frequency conversion speed control technology to electric actuators The company used an integrated inverter to control the motor of the actuator and launched a new generation of SIPOS 5 series frequency conversion intelligent electric actuators for the21st century in 1997. In order to adapt to market needs, from October 1, 1999, the electric actuator department Siemens Company was separated from the huge organization of Siemens Company. With the original trademark SIPOS as the company name, it became an electric actuator specialty company independent legal personality in Germany: SIPOS Aktorik GmbH (Sipos Electric Actuator Co., Ltd.). The headquarters and production factory of Sos Company is located in Nuremberg, Germany, and it has set up sales and service institutions in the main countries and regions of the world. Since October 1 1999, all businesses related to electric actuators of Siemens Company have been transferred to Sipos Company. Siemens Company no longer produces electricuators. After independence, Sipos Company still uses SIPOS as the trademark of its brand, but it is no longer part of Siemens Company. Siem Company is now one of the important customers of Sipos Company in the world. Sipos Company phased out SIPOS 5 and launched the second-generation frequency intelligent electric actuator series - SIPOS 5 Flash series at the beginning of 2001.
