Tianjin Beiliertong Machinery Co., Ltd. (former Tianjin No.2 General Machinery Plant; brands "Tianertong"/TET) was founded in 1955 and began developing valve electric devices in 1964. It is the Chinese company that introduced the American Limitorque valve-drive technology and a main drafting unit of the national standard for valve electric devices; a standing director of the Valve Branch of CGMA, a member of the National Valve Standardization Committee, ISO 9001 certified since 1995 (later ISO 14001 and ISO 45001). "Tianertong"/"TET" are Tianjin famous trademarks and brand-name products.

Note the company's official statement: the three trademarks are exclusively owned; no unit is authorized to manufacture elsewhere, and no sales company exists in Tianjin — purchase from the original factory only.
