TET Multi-Turn Valve Electric Devices: SMC, XZA, IMT, IMC and IMD

Multi-turn electric devices are TET's mainstay, covering gate valves, globe valves and sluice gates. Five base series are arranged by technology generation; each comes in four forms — basic / integral (.IN) / flameproof (.Ex) / integral flameproof (.Ex.IN) — and several can stack a /BA manual mechanism or /HBC, /JA protection combinations.

Suffix Guide

No suffix: basic type (digital control, external controller)
.IN: integral — controller built into the actuator body
.Ex: flameproof
.Ex.IN: integral flameproof
/BA: stacked multi-turn manual device (BA series); /HBC: protective manual mechanism; /JA: another manual/cover combination

Selection Notes

SMC: the best continuity choice for power stations, with strong spare-part commonality with installed bases
XZA: the self-developed platform — advantage in price and lead time
IMT/IMC: choose for non-intrusive commissioning, LCD and intelligent diagnostics; IMC is the newest and most compact
Flameproof: select Ex variants per the hazardous area
Connections per GB/T 12222 (multi-turn attachments) — TET is a main drafting unit of this standard
