The particularity of the valve requires its quality to be reliable and its performance to be outstanding. When evaluating the performance and performance testing of the, the following points should be noted:
1. The valve should operate flexibly and lightly under working water pressure, and the opening torque should be checked with a torque under working water pressure.
2. The valve should close tightly, and should not leak under 1.1 times the working water pressure or meet the standard requirements for (butterfly valves with metal seals). This requires that the valve be pressurized alternately on both sides and tested separately, and that multiple openings and closings achieve same effect. It is required that valves of various sizes and different types should all undergo life testing with load opening and closing at the manufacturer and at institutions with testing qualifications. This test includes the evaluation of the sealing effect of the valve shaft.
3. The valve should have strong flow capacity, especially the flow resistance of the butterfly valve and the plate should be small and the effective flow area should be large. This requires that valves of various sizes and different types should all be tested for flow resistance coefficients.
4 The ability of the valve body to withstand water pressure should be consistent with the pipeline, that is, the valve should be able to withstand the pipeline test pressure under the state of valve.
