Manual Operation
The direct-drive handwheel (or the independent gear-driven handwheel adopted on larger models) provides reliable emergency manual operation in case of power failure. The low-speed latch-type manual/automatic clutch can be operated safely even when the motor is running.
Note: Motor operation always takes priority, unless the manual/automatic lever is intentionally locked in the manual position. Both direct-drive and independent gear-driven handwheels feature lost-motion hammering effect.
Valve Position Control
The Hall-effect magnetic pulse system enables precise measurement and control of actuator stroke without using any gears or switches.
Motor
The phase synchronizer prevents valve damage caused by incorrect wiring. The unique built-in phase sequence automatic adjustment device of the SQ series ensures the three-phase motor always operates with correct power phase sequence, avoiding valve damage due to wrong power wiring.
Terminal Box
The independently sealed terminal box maintains the integrity of the actuator’s ingress protection performance even when the terminal box cover is opened for field wiring.
