A. First wiring and the operating panel
Complete the cable connections first: 220 V AC power cable, 4–20 mA control cable and 4–20 mA feedback cable. The local operating panel uses non-contact magnetic buttons, improving sealing and operability. Through the LCD behind the transparent window you switch local/remote operation, make adjustments and diagnose faults.
B. First power-up and end-position setting
After power-up the main menu offers: Language setting, Commissioning, Observing and Diagnosis.
For the first adjustment use PIN "9044" to enter Commissioning at the parameter-change level, then set the rotation direction, cut-off mode and torque values. Usually, for tight seating the close position is set torque-dependent and the open position travel-dependent; for smooth opening the opening torque should be one step higher than the closing torque.
First end-position setting: move the valve to full open by hand, or hold the OPEN button on the local panel for two seconds — the actuator runs open "until TL reached"; jog the CLOSE button to confirm the full-open position. Adjust the signal gear unit until the deviation reads 0.
Hold the CLOSE button for two seconds — the actuator runs closed "until TL reached". As closing is set to torque-dependent mode, the display shows "adapting cl.pos. - busy!"; after a few seconds "adjustment OK!" means first commissioning is complete. If "increase it!" or "decrease it!" appears, change the signal gear unit ratio one step and repeat the setting.
C. Fault self-diagnosis
If a fault occurs, enter the self-diagnosis menu and follow the fault messages. Once the fault is cleared, the end positions can be set again.
