Duct-Type Electric Heaters for Damper Seal-Air Systems: Features & Specifications
The duct-type electric heater is an electric heating device for process media, using stainless steel heating elements. Depending on the medium it heats gas or liquid, and it is widely used in power, metallurgy, light industry, aerospace, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, gas and food industries. In power plant damper systems, the duct heater mainly heats seal air: warmed sealing air is fed into the damper seal frame, preventing condensation, dust accumulation and sticking of the seal strips at low flue-gas temperatures — a key part of the seal-air system.

Features and Technical Specifications
- Heats the medium to very high temperatures, up to 850℃
- Well-designed: low flow resistance, even heating, no hot or cold dead zones
- Fast ramp-up and ramp-down; quick, stable regulation suitable for automatic control
- Heating elements made of special alloy with good mechanical strength
- Power: 2–1000 kW; pressure: 0–0.6 MPa
- Fitted with a temperature controller to prevent medium over-temperature and dry heating
